WWE ECW 182

December 1, 2009 – Hampton Virginia

The Abraham Washington Show kicks off the show. Washington is started to get very irritated because Tony Atlas is overshadowing him. Zack Ryder & Rosa Mendes are the guests. They read poems to each other. Ryder jumps on the couch in an ode to a thing Tom Cruise did on the Oprah show… four years earlier. Wrestling is the lamest shit ever sometimes.

Ezekiel Jackson apologizes to William Regal, but he won’t apologize to Vladimir Kozlov. Regal does his best to keep his team from falling apart.

Goldust def. William Regal
This actually wasn’t bad, as Regal was in stiff mode for the most part. The finish was Kozlov & Jackson arguing outside, which distracted Regal long enough for Goldust to win with a roll up at 4:09. *¾

Paul Burchill wants back onto ECW, but Tiffany isn’t having it. Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta walk in to brag about being the best new tag team on ECW (a show with no tag titles) and won’t let Tiffany get a word in.

Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta def. Bobby Fields & Tyler Hilton
Croft & Barreta’s music sounds like Christmas music. What the actual hell? I didn’t realize that Barreta debuted this early. Anyway, he and Croft squash the jobbers and win in 2:28 with an elevated running knee on Hilton. N/A

Christian & Shelton Benjamin def. Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov
Before the match, Christian turned off Benjamin’s video game before he could win an a simulation of their upcoming match. The heels are lunks, so the match was nothing. The whole thing was just an excuse to get to the finish, where Jackson walked out on Kozlov, allowing Benjamin to hit Paydirt for the win at 6:54 (shown). *½
