Hurricane Helms def. Paul Burchill
Woof, they gave this too much time. It was better than the time they gave Burchill too much time against Evan Bourne, but not a lot better. Helms got the win with the Eye of the Hurricane at 7:47 (shown of 10:56). Supposedly they have a big rematch in a few months that isn’t bad, but this was nothing special at all. **½

Tommy Dreamer is meant to team up with Christian in tonight’s main event. He says the two of them are still friends. William Regal approaches him, but it’s just a distraction so Vladimir Kozlov can attack. Regal’s menacing grin was way more frightening than Kozlov. Regal punts Dreamer and knocks him out. Tiffany later tells Christian he can find a replacement partner.

We get another Abraham Washington Show. So we’re gonna do this garbage on every single episode. I need to be put on suicide watch with this shit. I completely tune out his monologue until he brings out Goldust. Washington makes fun of his ticks. Sheamus is there too. They have a staredown and Goldust has a tick. Then nothing happens, so Washington just ends the show. Somehow this was supposed to hype SummerSlam, but neither guy has a match.

Zack Ryder def. Yoshi Tatsu
Ryder blocked a slingshot elbowdrop and rolled Tatsu up for the win at 3:03. Match was fine. **

Vladimir Kozlov & William Regal def. Christian & Ezekiel Jackson
The match is just a ploy, because it turns out that Kozlov and Jackson did fall in love, and they’re both following Regal. After getting beat up for close to five minutes, Jackson comes in illegally and chases off their opponents, only to hit Christian with the uranage. Then Regal pins Christian at 5:08. Okay then. They keep beating up Christian after the match and nobody is left to save him. **

And now for a very brief SummerSlam interlude.

Christian def. William Regal {ECW Championship Match}
Christian won in eight seconds but hitting the Killswitch while Regal was still taking off his ring jacket. That seems more like the opening bell rang before it was appropriate. Regal, Kozlov, and Jackson beat up Christian after the match. N/A
