Angelo Dawkins def. Eddie Kingston
This was a decent if unspectacular brawl that ended in a lame disqualification when Kingston hit some really fake looking chair shots on Dawkins, mostly targeting his knee. I am very much opposed to any more Street Profits vs. Kingston matches; they just aren’t doing a great job with the rivalry. **½
JD Drake def. Montez Ford {WWN Championship Match}
Ford came out in a bad mood after what happened to Dawkins in the last match. The vibe that I get from Drake is that he’s a drunk, angry, overgrown baby. It’s not a great look on a wrestler. I also find his drunken, stumbling style horrifying, especially when it leads to him landing side-first on Ford during a crappy moonsault. Stop doing things you can’t do, big guy. That aside, this was pretty fun. I didn’t buy the super strong style finish they were going for, but I dug the strike-heavy opening minutes and Ford’s attempt to dupe Drake into going for a dive. After the match, Kingston, Joe Gacy, and Colby Corino attack Ford. Dawkins tries to make the save and gets beaten as well. Drake saves them until Shane Strickland runs out and the heels’ numbers overwhelm. ***
Adam Cole def. Darby Allin
This was very short for a main event, and I have to say pretty disappointing given what I was hoping for. They started what would have been a nice sprint, but it ended before it could really get going and given Allin’s push in the company I’m kind of surprised with this match because the kid kind of got rolled. Austin Theory tries to attack Cole after the match but Priscilla Kelly and Allin save him. Then Cole bails. Anthony Henry comes out, accidentally hits Kelly, and then beats up Allin. Okay then. I hope the inevitable Cole vs. Theory match has a little more juice than this. **¾
