Xia Brookside & Millie McKenzie def. Charlie Morgan & Killer Kelly
This was pretty lousy, which is disappointing given how much good will Brookside and McKenzie had earned through their respective tournament matches so far. Also, Killer Kelly is a weird name for a jobber. *½

Eddie Dennis def. Ashton Smith
I’m glad they’re blowing off this stupid angle quickly. Smith worked pretty hard here, but I’m still not seeing anything particularly interesting in Dennis. He pretty much just let Smith bounce off of him here and then took control for the finish. **½

Joseph Conners def. Saxon Huxley
This started as a rather intense brawl, but it lost steam before it ended. I guess two-show program was their way of swapping Conners into Huxley’s spot. **¼

They show video packages for Toni Storm and Rhea Ripley, hyping their tournament finals/title match next week.

Pete Dunne def. Jordan Devlin {WWE United Kingdom Championship Match}
During this match, Vic Joseph calls one of Dunne’s moves a Sick Kick. It wasn’t the Sick Kick, but I’ll allow it because I coined that phrase and thus I have that authority. They did a lot of little things well in this match. For instance, Devlin was always very quick to go for a cover, as a win for him would be bigger than another defense for Dunne. He also rolled onto his stomach to avoid pins where he could. After realizing that Dunne wasn’t blocking the Spanish Fly, Devlin hit it multiple times from multiple different places in and around the ring. That’s just neat. This did a lot to turn me around on Devlin, who I really wasn’t enjoying before this. If they were smart, they’d have booked an immediate rematch since Dunne made a clean break of his Triangle Choke after Devlin got to the ropes. Joseph’s, “He didn’t completely grab the bottom rope,” excuse was about as flimsy a cop out as I’ve heard. Anyway, great match. ****
