Kairi Sane def. Shazza McKenzie
I don’t review squashes, and I think this episode going to have a lot of them. Lacey Evans comes out after the match to apologize to Sane for saying she didn’t belong in NXT. The crowd tells Sane not to buy it, and they were right as Evans socks Sane in the face. N/A
Shane Thorne & Nick Miller def. Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford
This was fine, just fine, and then TM61 cheated win after a short bout. **
Kona Reeves def. Patrick Scott
I don’t review squashes, but it was clear from the word go that this wasn’t going to work. N/A
Vanessa Borne says she’d handle Shayna Baszler with more guts than Dakota Kai has. Kai says she has issues with Baszler, but she can definitely handle Borne.
Bianca Belair def. Candice LeRae
LeRae is very out of sorts, having seen her husband get sent out of the arena in an ambulance last week. This was Belair’s best match yet, really getting to show her stuff. LeRae did some weird Gargano-selling, by which I mean overdoing the selling for damage that didn’t seem so bad. Still, solid stuff here. **¾
Pete Dunne def. Roderick Strong
This was wild, but not quite as good as their first match. For one thing, Dunne won by disqualification after Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole interfered. It was pretty lame, especially because the final moments leading up to the non-finish were great. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan make the save. I want to see this six-man tag match very very much. ***½
