Ruby Riott & Jesus Cross def. Royce Da 5’7 & Billie Kay
This was just a longer version of the last time that Riott had to start the match by herself and then Cross came out during the match. Seriously, there was no difference except the match length. It wasn’t better, and the story was exactly the same. You see how I’m repeating the same sentiment in each sentence with slightly different words? That’s what happened in this match. That’s a very annoying waste of time. ¾*
Amsterdam Black nc. Lio Rush
The match never happens because Velveteen Dream attacks Rush before it can start. That’s annoying, I’d heard good things about him and was looking forward to this. Dream wants Black to say his name, but Black stays silent.
Kairi Sane def. Aliyah
I don’t review squashes, but I do love Sane. Do we really need Aliyah? N/A
Drew McIntyre def. Roderick Strong {NXT Championship Match}
Look, Strong hit the Sick Kick in this match, and it was shouted by the commentators over and over again, and it became clear that it’s meant to be his world-ender finisher. Because I coined the term Sick Kick, this makes me happier than I can express in writing. But then McIntyre kicked out of it so kind of not also. Either way, this was a little bit better than their first match, but not a lotta bit. It had more of a serious match feel, and it also had a finish. Those are two good things. Strong shakes the champ’s hand after the match. The Undisputed Era approaches Strong on the ramp and Adam Cole says, “You know where you belong.” I’m very happy there’s a direction for him after his title aspirations came up short. ***½
Because the Cruiserweight Championship is now an NXT title and I’m reviewing every title defense of the WWE/NXT Cruiserweight Championship and post them on the NXT TV reviews that preceded them, here’s the title defense from the 1,272nd episode of Raw.

Kalisto def. Enzo Amore {WWE Cruiserweight Championship Lumberjack Match}
This is the main event of Raw. I want to emphasize that; Enzo Amore brought the title to the main event of Raw. Booker T calls that big on commentary, but it’s pathetic. So much so that PAC sat out a full year of his career in response to it. The entire cruiserweight division makes up the lumberjacks. Kalisto won in honor of Eddie Guerrero’s birthday at 10:56 (shown) with the Salida del Sol after Mustafa Ali got involved. Amore controlled so much of this that it defied logic and was super boring. The only cute part of this match was all the cruiserweights deciding they hated Amore and beating him up, while they carefully helped Kalisto into the ring when he’d roll to the floor. I dunno, the finish was fun I guess. The rest was pretty bad. **
