Drew McIntyre def. Rob Ryzin
I don’t review squashes, but this one was dull. N/A
Akam & Rezar def. Anthony Dominguez & William Freydey
Nothing squash. After the match, Paul Ellering finally addresses Heavy Machinery. Thank god. Heavy Machinery comes out and gets in their face and Ellering makes his boys back off. N/A
Velveteen Dream def. Raul Mendoza
If this episode’s main event isn’t dope, three squashes in a row will be retroactively unacceptable. N/A
Asuka nc. Nikki Cross & Ruby Riot {NXT Women’s Championship Triple Threat Elimination Match}
This was pretty crap. The triple threat portion was fine, if dull. Once Riot went out it seemed like Cross and Asuka might have a fun run, but then they brawled to the back and the referee ruled it a no contest. This of course was after the commentators over and over again said there were no count outs and no disqualifications in a triple threat match. Just stupidly written and stupidly executed. Then they brawl all over backstage and have a fall over a barricade through a table. Why not wait until that happened and they were unconscious to stop the match?! Holy shit this was dumb. *
Asuka’s title reign is sputtering into nothing and this was one of the top 10 worst episodes of NXT ever.
