NXT 362

November 9, 2016 – Los Angeles, California

Akam & Rezar def. Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa {Semifinal Match}
The ring is mic’d a little better in LA than it was in San Jose, so there’s that at least. This was a good precursor to the fantastic match they’d have in a couple months, but featured a lot more gaga. The Revival had been hiding under the ring the whole time, and with Paul Ellering distracting the referee they attacked Gargano and left Ciampa open to get hit with the Last Chapter. ***¼

Nick Miller & Shane Thorne def. Alexander Wolfe & Sawyer Fulton {Semifinal Match}
This wasn’t as exciting as either team’s (or in TM61’s case, Thorne’s) performance last week. SAnitY got exposed a bit as lunks here. Not bad, but kind of flat. **¾

November 9, 2016 – Winter Park, Florida

William Regal is essentially punishing the Revival for their interference by booking them in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match against DIY for the tag titles at Takeover: Toronto.

Ember Moon def. Rachel Evers
The match was fine, but if I remember anything about it, it’ll be Evers standing around like a dope waiting around for the Eclipse to hit her. I’m not dropping this. #StopTheEclipse. *¾

The show ends with a contract signing for the NXT Championship Match at Takeover. There’s a ton of security. Samoa Joe won’t come down to the ring so he lounges on the ramp. He demands Regal bring him the contract on the ramp. Shinsuke Nakamura is not impressed with Joe’s power play, and he beats up the security guards while staring at Joe before signing. That was one of the more entertaining contract signings they’ve done.
