October 12, 2016 – Winter Park, Florida
Alexander Wolfe & Sawyer Fulton def. Bobby Roode & Tye Dillinger {First Round Match}
This is SAnitY’s debut, and they sure are creepy. I question including the German Wolfe in a stable that Triple H has said is based on a neo-nazi gang from a bad movie. Roode abandons Dillinger, who gets squashed and pinned very quickly. The two SAnitY members who didn’t wrestle keep beating up Dillinger after the match and reveal themselves to be Nikki Cross and Eric Young. ¼*
Billie Kay def. Liv Morgan
Peyton Royce helped Kay get the win after a competent enough match. I’m kind of bummed Morgan is on the downswing, even though she can’t really run the ropes. *½
Nick Miller & Shane Thorne def. Toni Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss {First Round Match}
They call this Sabbatelli & Moss’s debuts, but Moss had been jobbing on TV quite a bit in 2015. This was very very very boring. The football players are not ready to be on the show. *
Buddy Murphy nc. Wesley Blake
The match never really gets going because Samoa Joe runs out and beats both of them up after a few minutes. Joe’s promos during these segments have been pretty dope. Shinsuke Nakamura comes out in a neck brace, rips it off, and charges the ring. Security tries to pull them apart but they won’t be controlled. Nakamura beats up security guards, even hitting the Kinshasa on Otis Dozovic, and in the end hits it on Joe as well.
