Bull Dempsey def. Mojo Rawley
Not sure why we need squash match rematches of squash matches, two weeks in a row no less. After the match, Tyler Breeze comes out for his match. Rawley brushes past him so Breeze beats him up. I love Breeze for this, but it’s a lazy, nonsensical way to set up a feud. N/A
Tyler Breeze def. Justin Gabriel
They clearly don’t know what to do with Gabriel right now, and sticking him in a heel vs. heel match to boost Breeze up wasn’t a great idea. The crowd was just stone cold silent for it. Not sure why Gabriel isn’t part of the main event feud, given he’s teamed with Tyson Kidd a lot and he and Titus O’Neil have had similar trajectories in WWE. *½
Natalya asks William Regal to give Kidd another shot at the title. Regal says he can have it, but if he loses he’ll never get another shot at the title as long as Adrian Neville is champion. There are a lot of cool places you could go with the fallout from a match like this, but I think it’s just going to be used to get Kidd out of NXT.
Bayley def. Alexa Bliss
A babyface vs. babyface women’s match is a breath of fresh air. This was fun, short, and breezy, and I even liked the deer in headlights look Bliss had on her face after Bayley dodged the double stomp and charged in for the Bayley To Belly. After the match, Bayley asks Charlotte for a rematch for the title, and Charlotte is all about it. **¼
Enzo Amore def. Marcus Louis
The quality of the CassCam video took a bit of a dive this episode, as the big gag was just Enzo falling off of a treadmill ignoring an lesson from Cass on how to be less of a misogynist. Louis is rocking the Kurt Angle wig and headgear look after losing his hair. During the boring match, Enzo pulls off the wig and the crowd remains silent, so I think it might be time to give up on the Legionnaires. ½*
Sin Cara & Kalisto def. Konnor & Viktor {NXT Tag Team Championship Match}
This was pretty similar to their Takeover match, but with a worse finish as Hideo Itami distracts the Ascension, leading to the pin. Itami wipes out Konnor after the match. **
