Charlotte def. Emma [Quarterfinal Match]
Emma, who is now in a relationship with Santino, loses the match when she tries to use the Cobra on Charlotte but it backfires. This was alright, but too short. **¼

El Local & Kalisto def. Marcus Lois & Sylvester LeFort
I’m happy that Kalisto was able to escape Adam Rose’s party, because he was the highlight of this match. Now if he could just ditch El Local. **½

Camacho def. Captain Comic
Comic is one of Adam Rose’s Rosebuds. I don’t review squashes, but this was an exceptionally boring one. N/A

Alexa Bliss def. Alicia Fox [Quarterfinal Match]
Bliss came in looking all perky and nice and got her lip busted open in her debut match here. This was alright. It wasn’t special, but it was a solid start for bliss. **

Tyson Kidd, Sami Zayn & Tyler Breeze def. Brodus Clay, Bo Dallas, Mason Ryan, Camacho, El Local, Yoshi Tatsu, Xavier Woods, Oliver Gray, Jason Jordan, Sylvester LeFort, Colin Cassady, Baron Corbin, Marcus Lois, Mojo Rawley, Danny Burch & Curt Hawkins [Number One Contender Battle Royal]
I’m pretty sure I missed someone in that match listing. The crowd wants Tatsu, who makes it to the final 7 before getting eliminated by Dallas. So Dallas’ heel status is cemented forever now. If that was booked on the fly it was genius. Dallas goes on a Ryan Run (Ryan eliminated the most wrestlers in last year’s battle royal) but gets eliminated by Kidd. Rawley is so bad he couldn’t even be eliminated without screwing it up. Once it gets down the Zayn, Breeze, and Kidd things get really good. In a brilliant finish, Kidd and Zayn hang on for dear life but Kidd catches Breeze with a head scissors and all three hit the ground at the same time. Best finish to a battle royal in my memory. Triple H comes out to announce the triple threat match next week to decide who gets the title shot, which again begs the question of where the hell JBL is. ***¼
