Aiden English def. Colin Cassady
William Regal blurts out one of those classic accidental kayfabe-breaking comments when he says, “Rivalries never end.” Not in NXT they don’t. Props to these guys for building on the finish of their last match, but the rest of the match was boring as hell and English is 3-0 over Cass now. *½
Paige won the WWE Diva’s Championship from AJ Lee on RAW. She says that anyone can come after her for a shot at either title.
Camacho def. Oliver Gray
Camacho is mad at Adam Rose because Rose beat him in that gimmick’s debut. I had totally forgotten about that. And though Gray is making his return here, Camacho changed his gimmick (he’s reformed, you see) so he gets the win. *
Bo Dallas is back to being delusional about the Bo-Lievers, and he still wants his title back.
Konnor & Viktor def. Wesley Blake & Cal Bishop
I don’t review squashes. N/A
In a backstage segment, they finally acknowledge that Sasha Banks never wins. Charlotte has noticed too, so she’s taking charge of the BFFs.
The Great Khali def. CJ Parker
Parker did a nice job of bouncing around the ring for Khali. This was actually kind of fun. **
Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger def. Sawyer Fulton & Baron Corbin
Jordan and Dillinger might have matching tights, but Jordan still has his jobber haircut so this team has a ceiling. This was a decent debut for the team, though more for Jordan than Dillinger. **¼
Adrian Neville def. Brodus Clay
Oh Jesus, this is the match in which Neville gets his teeth knocked out. It happened when he got caught coming off the top rope, and now we uncomfortably watch him bleed through his mouth guard for the rest of the match. Luckily (for a couple reasons) it’s kept short. Neville won this thing by count out after Clay missed an elbowdrop on the floor. Nerve hold aside, this was better than I was ready for it to be, so I’m open to a title match between them. Neville was INSANELY calm for a guy who just got all his front teeth knocked out. **¾
