NXT 195

November 13, 2013 – Winter Park, Florida

Summer Rae & Sasha Banks def. Charlotte & Bayley
After a decent enough match, Bayley goes to tag Charlotte and gets smacked in the face. Charlotte hits her finisher on Bayley and lets Banks pin her. Technically, the slap should have counted as a tag and Charlotte was the legal woman. Other than that, this was a well but not excellently executed heel turn. Especially given that the heels didn’t seem to be in on the scheme. **½

Aiden English def. Camacho
None of the commentators mention that English and Camacho were partners going after Big E Langston’s title. Aiden won this thing in about a minute, so expect Camacho to be in the main event in no time. ½*

Mason Ryan def. Danny Burch
This guy’s still kicking around? Things didn’t work out well for Burch here, and I wish I could tell him that in 5 years things would finally turn around a bit. N/A

Adrian Neville def. Corey Graves [2 Out Of 3 Falls Match]
Tensai on commentary calls this one of the most intense rivalries he’s ever seen, so clearly he’s only ever seen NXT in 2013. There wasn’t a storyline reason for this to be a ⅔ falls match, but they managed to tell a compelling story (Graves gets boned on the first fall, then takes out Neville’s leg to win the second and in doing so cuts out most of Neville’s offense) throughout. Neville’s selling was really stellar, and while this wasn’t as exciting as the last ⅔ falls match, it was better than any Graves singles match really has any right to be. ***½
