June 26, 2013 – Winter Park, Florida
Big E Langston def. Aidan English
So we’re just back to squashes for Langston. After the match it’s back to the 5 gimmick and it seems like there’s very little character development after the title reign. This segment played a bit like How Big E Got His Groove Back, but shouldn’t he be moving on to something new? N/A
Emma def. Aksana [Quarterfinal Match]
Emma is now very, very over. Aksana is now pretty, pretty bad. *½
Leo Kruger def. Dante Dash
We’ve had weeks of vignettes for Kruger only for him to come out with no change to his character, so he’s probably just getting a singles push. He’s also got a new palm strike and a new submission hold and the same old boring squash matches. N/A
Bo Dallas def. Mickey Keegan
I don’t think changes his name from Axl is going to make Keegan any less of a jobber. Leo Kruger is still hanging out at ringside. Keegan gets squashed without incident from Kruger, and in fact Kruger comes in and attacks the prone Keegan. Dallas stands by and allows it to happen, then the two have a weird staredown. I am not looking forward to this program at all. N/A
Kassius Ohno & Corey Graves def. Scott Dawson & Garrett Dylan [Number 1 Contenders Match]
Wow, Dawson here isn’t the Dawson I’m not obsessed with at all. This was dull as dishwater. Also, how anyone can make fun of Ohno’s weight gain when Dylan is out there just flubbing around is beyond me. After the match the Wyatt Family and the losers start beating on the winners. Adrian Neville tries to make the save but 5-on-3 are bad odds, so Regal runs down to the ring to try to even things up. That doesn’t work out so well and this really crap episode ends on a really down note. **
