NXT 132

August 29, 2012 – Winter Park, Florida

Camacho & Hunico def. Mike Dalton & Jason Jordan
I had time for a longer match here, as Hunico was really feeling it and everyone else was holding their own as well. A rubber match, perhaps? **¾

The Usos come out to call out the Ascension in reaction to their weird non-finish a couple weeks back. The Ascension sneak attacks and comes out on top. Like the hype segment for the championship match last week, I’m not sure this was a good use of anyone’s time.

Big E Langston def. Chase Donovan
I got the point when he won his first squash, and I didn’t really need another, even shorter one to make the same point. ½*

Seth Rollins def. Jinder Mahal [NXT Championship Match] The whole roster is on the ramp to watch the whole match, which is weird as hell if you ask me. Less weird, this was the best NXT match since the reboot. I was worried when I saw that they were going to give this thing almost twenty minutes, but Mahal brought what I assume is the best that he has and Rollins got the crowd hyped up with his exciting offense. ***¾
