Johnny Curtis def. Percy Watson
Another dull back-and-forth match with no flashes or flourishes. *¾
Ezekiel Jackson & The Great Khali def. Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins
This one doesn’t really make sense, since Reks & Hawkins weren’t hired back as wrestlers. This was fun when Khali was in there, but he was only in there for like 30 seconds. *
Kaitlyn def. Maxine
Same match, same dead crowd, nothing new. ¾*
Tyson Kidd def. Derrick Bateman & Michael McGillicutty {Triple Threat Match}
On commentary, William Regal proves he doesn’t know how triple threat matches work. This was more entertaining than your average NXT main event, as it was given a good chunk of time and actually filled that time with engaging wrestling. **¾
I wonder if they’re just taking a week off from the backstage attacker angle, or if they’ve just dropped it altogether.
