November 5, 2014 – Los Angeles, California
At the top of the show, Ricky Reyes, Lil Cholo, and Ezekel Jackson introduce themselves as Cortez Castro, Mr. Cisco, and Big Ryck. Apparently Ryck received the $100,000 payout from last week. Johnny Mundo attacks and more or less has things under control, but Prince Puma runs out for backup anyway. Dario Cueto demands a tag team match happen.
Johnny Mundo & Prince Puma def. Mr. Cisco & Cortez Castro
Mundo & Puma came out of this looking really strong, though it didn’t do much to make Cisco & Castro look like any kind of a threat to anyone. The match kept up a good pace for the time they got, but like I said it never felt like the babyfaces were in any trouble. They won with stereo 450 splashes. ***
Konnan wants Puma to stay away from Mundo. He doesn’t trust Mundo and he doesn’t want Puma caught in the crossfire between Mundo and Cueto. Puma seems like he’s on board.
Chavo Guerrero & Sexy Star def. Son of Havoc & Ivelisse
This was a pretty solid little mixed tag match, with a good finish in which Guerrero knocked out Havoc but tagged in Star so she could get the pin and some revenge. **¾
Mil Muertas def. Blue Demon Jr.
Before the match, Demon was haunted by Catrina, who licked his face and told him that he’s marked by Muertas. Muertas more or less squashed Demon here. After the match he continued to beat on Demon until Guerrero ran out to make the save. Then Guerrero turned on Demon, beat up some referees, and hit Star with a chair when she came out to reason with him. That’s not not interesting. **½
