Billie Kay & Peyton Royce def. Macey Evans & Sarah Bridges
Earlier in the day, Kay and Royce attacked Asuka in the parking lot. A bunch of bystanders stood around and did nothing, then one of them says, “Let’s get a doctor.” What kind of shit is that? Evans will become Lacey Evans so she’s really all I care about here. Sarah Bridges will become Sarah Logan also, if you’re interested in that kind of thing. I don’t review squashes, but the jobbers were more interesting than the Aussies. After the match, Asuka runs out to attack Royce & Kay, but the numbers catch up to her. Nikki Cross makes the save and clears the ring, then she attacks Asuka. The inevitable four-way title match is depressing, because Cross vs. Asuka one-on-one sounds a lot more fun. N/A

Elias Samson def. Jonathan Cruz
This Cruz fella isn’t bad. Too bad he’s the tiniest wrestler ever. Samson has boulders for muscles, so I’m coming to terms with the countless times I’ll have to watch him squash nerds. N/A

Andrade Cien Almas def. Oney Lorcan
This was half the length of their match in Japan, but had twice the crowd reaction. I think we need a rubber match in front of this crowd with a little more time to let them hang out with each other. After the match he more or less says now that he’s gotten his win back from Lorcan, he’s coming after Strong, who eliminated him from the number one contender match. **¼

Shinsuke Nakamura is gifted Bobby Roode’s old ticket to Takeover: Dallas, where he watched from the crowd as Nakamura debuted. That’s cute.

Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa def. Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson {NXT Tag Team Championship Match}
This was a lot looser and more chaotic than their previous matches, and the finish was ridiculous: the Revival hugged each other in the middle of the ring and got hit at the same time with DIY’s finishing strikes. Why? Dumb. Most of the match was fun, but as I said, not as tight or focused as their outstanding Takeover matches. After the match, the Authors of Pain beat down DIY. ***½

William Regal announces that the Authors of Pain will get a title match at Takeover: San Antonio. He also says that the contract signing between Nakamura and Roode with be next week. Asuka barges in and demands a title match against all three of her assailants at Takeover. After having her get beat up twice in a show, this was a great way to have her cap the episode.
