Summer Rae def. Bayley [Number One Contender Match]
This was good by Rae’s standards, and fine by universal standards. **¼
Sin Cara def. Wesley Blake
I don’t review squashes, but this means that Kalisto is about to get an upgrade so I’m not mad at that. N/A
CJ Parker comes out and now the babyface commentators’ climate change denial points have stopped making sense. Jason Albert has softened, saying it’s fine he believes the climate change is real but not to push it on him. Dude, who are you pandering to with this anti-environmentalism? At least now they have Renee Young speaking sanity. Anyway, Parker wants to apologize to Xavier Woods for what he said about him last week. The whole thing spins away from a coherent storyline and then Parker attacks Woods from behind.
Bull Dempsey def. Angelo Dawkins
There are too many squashes on this program. N/A
Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel def. Sami Zayn & Adrian Neville
Really fun match, with non-stop action and then an incredible finish that saw Kidd exploit Natalya falling to roll up Zayn for the win. This was well booked, as there’s just enough ambiguity around whether or not Kidd knew he was getting shoved into his wife to keep the line between him being a jerk and being a monster is still blurry. ***½
