Alexa Bliss def. Sasha Banks
A perfectly fine match had the same crap finish that I’m worried is going to be happening for a while, as Charlotte and Summer Rae argue at ringside and distract Banks, leading to a rollup from Bliss. The BFF seem to implode after the match, but something tells me they’ll be back together next week. **
Mojo Rawley def. Garrett Dylan
How long are we going to keep doing this? Surprised to see they let Kris Kristofferson Jr. back in NXT considering he’s lost zero weight. N/A
Aiden English & Simon Gotch def. Angelo Dawkins & Travis Tyler
I don’t review squashes, but English has added a nice senton to his repertoire and I felt I should mention it. N/A
Tyler Breeze def. Kalisto
These guys got a lot of time and spent the majority of it in a front facelock. I’m not mad at that, because they worked the move and because it caused a few people in the front row to have temper tantrums that were really fun to watch. Breeze needs a more convincing finisher though. ***¼
The vast majority of films produced by WWE Studios feature at least one wrestler. There’s a commercial here Road to Paloma that features none and I’m wondering if they cast Jason Momoa thinking he was Roman Reigns. That joke has probably been made before and I realize that so leave me alone.
Konnor & Viktor def. Sami Zayn & Tyson Kidd [Tag Team Championship Match]
Natalya asked for Kidd to be teamed with Zayn as a way of making it up to him that she stopped him from using a chair in last week’s main event. Go fig. The match only lasts a few minutes as Kidd essentially turns heel when he abandons Zayn because he didn’t tag to him quickly enough. This wasn’t particularly well executed, but hey maybe Kidd will be more interesting as a heel. *½
