Big E def. Bo Dallas [Win Or Go Home Match]
If Dallas won he’d get a title shot, but since he lost he’s banned from NXT. The finish was pretty great, as for the first time Dallas cheats in plain sight and in doing so he opened himself up to getting pinned. Most of the match was as boring as you’d expect though. **½
Paige def. Tamina
It’s pretty clear now that they were protecting Paige by having her stripped of the title rather than losing it, given that she’s still appearing on the show. This is a rematch from the Extreme Rules PPV, but this isn’t for the title so who cares amiright? Tamina is so slow. There was a cool spot in which Tamina shoved page off the top rope to the apron, but aside from that this was kind of a drag. *¾
Adam Rose def. Camacho
This was the best of all their matches even though it ended by count-out, which isn’t saying much. They have a rematch at Takeover (which as I mentioned was less good than this) for whatever reason. **½
Natalya def. Sasha Banks [Semifinal Match]
A spat between the BFFs led to Natalya tapping Banks. This was solid stuff, and finally moved the BFF storyline forward with static between the two. **¾
Adrian Neville def. Curt Hawkins
THe most interesting thing in this match was Alex Riley calling the back of the human head the softest part of the body. I like him on commentary for the most part but what made him think that was the case? This was pretty much a squash, but it was fun and I like Neville so I’m breaking my own rule. After the match, Tyson Kidd comes out and shows us why he doesn’t usually cut in-ring promos. Neville cuts a rather blistering promo, predicting that Natalya will win the Women’s Championship and that she’ll be the only member of her family who wins at Takeover. **
