Alexander Rusev def. Sin Cara
I always thought it was a big no-no for a luchador to put his mask back on after losing it. Nothing is sacred in WWE. This match was performed under yellow lights, which was pretty distracting. Cara and Rusev didn’t really gel. *
An ad for the WWE Network features Mean Gene Okerlund saying, “holy balls.”
Emma def. Alicia Fox
This was okay. The commentators are still wondering when Emma is going to get her title shot, which she initially earned forever ago. Emma lays out a challenge for when Paige returns from injury. The BFF and Fox all attack Emma but Bayley and Natalya make the save. *½
Mason Ryan def. Sylvester LeFort
I don’t review squashes. N/A
Tyson Kidd def. Aiden English
This was actually going along quite nicely before Big Cass distracted English, leading to Kidd getting the win. What could the blow off to this feud be? English has already really decisively beated Cass. **¼
Adrian Neville def. Corey Graves
Each guy has one win in this feud, so let’s put this thing to bed. Zombie Graves loses to Ascendant Neville and all is right in the world. That said this was dull as hell, no matter how much the commentators tried to make it seem like it would have any impact on ongoing storylines. **½
After the match, Bo Dallas comes out and looks like he’s going to attack Neville. Triple H nips that in the bud before it starts and announces that their match at the live event will be a ladder match. Neville is stoked.
