October 16, 2013 – Winter Park, Florida
Conor O’Brian & Rick Victor def. Adrian Neville & Corey Graves [NXT Tag Team Championship Match]
This was about on par with their first match. It didn’t have the same exciting moments but it told a better story. In either match’s case, they’re not really worth seeking out. After the match, Graves attacks Neville so they can have something to do while the singles title is busy. **¾
Tyler Breeze def. CJ Parker
Breeze has now won decisively twice in a row. Does this feud have to continue? It’s not like there’s a natural stipulation to stop Breeze from using dirty tricks. Parker his the palm strike after the match and steals Breeze’s phone, so I guess we’re getting more. **¼
Paige & Emma def. Summer Rae & Sasha Banks
This was solid. I don’t know what else to say about stuff like this. Rae is the least interesting lady in the ring, but she seems to be the one getting the big push. **½
Bo Dallas def. Sami Zayn [NXT Championship Match]
The false finish early on in the match was executed in such a way that not only was the crowd not convinced, but JBL reversing the decision seemed more just than nefarious. The rest of the match had a few incredible near falls, but ultimately I would have liked a less hinky finish than an exposed turnbuckle shot. Dallas’ title reign could have used it too. ***½
