Sami Zayn def. Curt Hawkins
They were going for the same kind of stellar matches that Zayn had with the Real Americans, but Hawkins isn’t as good as Jack Swagger, let alone Antonio Cesaro. So this just ended up long and kind of boring. **½
Aiden English def. Michael Q Laurie
Aiden English joins Tyler Breeze, Shane Dawson, and CJ Parker in graduated-from-jobber status. He’s a singer, you see. I don’t review squashes, but English has a nice jumping legdrop. N/A
Adrian Neville, Corey Graves, Xavier Woods & CJ Parker def. Tyler Breeze, Leo Kruger, Conor O’Brian & Rick Victor
On the one hand, this was a very nice showcase for Breeze, as the crowd loves him, he’s more interesting than the rest of the heels, and he had a great shtick in this match where he’d get hit once and immediately tag out. On the other hand, this was billed as a match to see who really wanted a shot at the tag titles, so when the Ascension and Kruger bailed on Breeze, it sort of spat in the face of that story. The whole thing was fun and forgettable in the end. ***
