Matt Striker says that the NXT alumni will keep coming on the show until NXT 100. This week it’s Michael McGillicutty. He’s interrupted by Alex Riley, and they have a match.
Alex Riley def. Michael McGillicutty
I guess these two had been wrestling a lot on WWE Superstars in recent weeks, but for them familiarity mostly only bred chinlocks. Yeesh. *¾
Kaitlyn tries to get Derrick Bateman feeling good about being single now. No dream journaling allowed. He’s still fazed by Maxine and Johnny Curtis smooching in front of him.

This matchup isn’t really improving with each iteration. ¾*
Trent Barreta def. Curt Hawkins
This flashed with a bit of excellence, but it was a very tiny bit. What’s with all the chinlocks in a five-minute match? **
Darren Young def. Derrick Bateman
The commentators are trying to make it seem like the issue between Young and Titus O’Neil started a couple weeks ago. It’s been chugging along on and off for almost a year! And it hurts! Maxine and Curtis come out during the match and tell Bateman that they’re going to get married in two weeks in Las Vegas. Young uses the distraction to get the win. Okay, whatever. *½
