Darren Young def. Titus O’Neil
I’ve never watched the same match so many times and seen two guys do absolutely nothing to make any of them stand out. Hornswoggle is still missing, Young now seems to be admitting that he has him locked in a cage somewhere, and O’Neil is pissed. After a couple minutes of nothing, a video appears on the screen of Chavo Guerrero having seemingly found the box that Hornswoggle is locked in, so O’Neil bails on the match and Young wins by count out. ½*
O’Neil saves Hornswoggle and spoils the upcoming surprise by asking, “Was it both of them?” Then Guerrero turns heel by attacking O’Neil and bringing Hornswoggle to the ring to get beaten up. O’Neil makes the save too late.
Yoshi Tatsu def. Byron Saxton
Regal tries to make Tatsu’s lack of energy into a storyline point, but it didn’t stop from making this match a real slow roll. *¾
Vladimir Kozlov, Conor O’Brian, JTG, and Jacob Novak all come out. It’s been weeks and weeks and weeks since there was a backstage segment between these two betting that they could mold their rookies in their own image. So why should we care about this now? So Novak acts hood and O’Brian does sambo stuff. Kozlov and O’Brian win, and then Kozlov attacks JTG and they decide to have a match.
Vladimir Kozlov def. JTG
Kozlov was at least a little bit over with the crowd. Other than that, this was nothing. *½
Maryse shows off the bags that Lucky Cannon has bought for her to Tatsu. He finally realizes that she likes things more than she likes people and breaks up with her. Maryse is flustered because she didn’t think they were together. Cannon offers to take her on a shopping spree to calm her nerves. Moments later, Novak gets eliminated from NXT.
