November 14, 2006 – Manchester, Greater Manchester
Paul Heyman starts the show by saying that Rob Van Dam didn’t make the trip to England (that’s a lie) because of the beating he took last week. Hearing the fans chant RVD with their accents is cute. Heyman is ready to give Hardcore Holly the contract for the final elimination chamber spot, but Bobby Lashley attacks Holly in the back. Lashley spears Big Show in the ring and signs the open contract.
CM Punk def. Mike Knox
This went down exactly like last week, except that the match had a little more energy. Punk has now made Knox tap out twice, so I’m not sure what’s left do mine out of this feud. **½
Tommy Dreamer def. Daivari
This pairing of Daivari and Khali because they’re both brown is super weird. They have literally nothing else in common. Dreamer won by DQ when Khali gets involved. The match was nothing and Elijah Burke’s racist commentary was lame. I hate this shit. N/A
Bobby Lashley def. Hardcore Holly
This dull match ended when Big Show pulled the referee out of the ring. Heyman’s guys then attack Lashley until Punk, Sabu, and RVD make the save. *½
There hasn’t been a good match on this show in like a month and a half. This show, which was already bad, is seriously falling apart.
