Mark Henry & Kane def. Christian & Finlay
This was a fun little match, but once again Christian does the job as Henry wins for his time by hitting him with the World’s Strongest Slam at 5:40. **¼
The next twenty minutes are spent hyping WrestleMania with video packages. That’s four-sevenths of the program, well over half.
Nikki Bella def. Brie Bella
ep, this is a go-home match for the tag title unification match at WrestleMania. Jesus Christ. This was very bad. These two were not wrestlers. Nikki won with a terrible roll up at 3:27. ¼*
Okay so the last couple weeks of this show were used to hype two matches at WrestleMania… so I’ll review them even though by my own ECW brand rules I could skip them.

Carlito & Primo def. The Miz & John Morrison {WWE Tag Team Championship Unification Lumberjack Match}
The lumberjacks were named by the ring announcer, making me wonder if that’s some kind of it prerequisite for getting a WrestleMania payday. This was a fun little match, and thankfully the lumberjacks didn’t get involved much. That said the best spot in the match was Carlito spearing the Miz into the lumberjacks from the apron. Primo countered a reverse brainbuster to the Backstabber at 8:21 for the win. I have to call out that the Bellas fought each other in the final ECW build for this match, and then didn’t even appear here. The commentators addressed it by saying “where would they fit in this sea of lumberjacks.” That brings up that making this a lumberjack match didn’t make a lick of sense. The lumberjacks were there because it was suggested that Miz & Morrison might bail on the match, but then just make the stipulation be that the titles will be unified no matter how the winners win, including by count out or disqualification. WWE has been bad for a long time. ***
CM Punk def. Christian, Mark Henry, Kane, Finlay, MVP, Kofi Kingston, and Shelton Benjamin {Money in the Bank Ladder Match}
Punk became the first guy to win two Money in the Bank matches here. There were some cool spots here, a couple of gnarly bumps, and an overall nice consistent flow. There was also a bad botch. Moreover. It bugs me that nobody tries to win even when it makes sense to try for the first ten minutes of the match. That said, there was some fun comedy in this too thanks to Hornswoggle and a small ladder. That makes this more memorable than a lot of ladder matches. Punk won at 14:33. Could have been higher without the flubs. ***¾
