Shelton Benjamin & Mark Henry def. Christian & MVP
This was ECW’s way of hyping Money in the Bank, the only WrestleMania match they’d have any representation in. This was fine, and fast moving when Christian and Benjamin were in there. Henry was basically a non-factor. Benjamin hit Paydirt on Christian at 5:00. How come now ECW headliners were ever protected? **¼
Finlay can’t find Hornswoggle, who’d done too much St. Paddy’s Day celebrating. Later, he finds his son soaking Katie Lea with bottled water.
Evan Bourne def. Jamie Noble
Remember when Noble watched a Tyson Kidd match from the ramp? This show has so many dangling threads. They even show Kidd watching from a monitor but say it’s because he’s focused on Bourne! Bingeing exposes WWE writers has hacks for over a decade. Noble got totally rolled here. Bourne won with the Shooting Star Press in 2:57. **
ECW Champion Jack Swagger comes to the ring for a chat after not being seen or mentioned on last week’s episode. He says absolutely nothing interesting. This was literally just to remind people he existed for two minutes.
Tiffany wants ECW to do an all-diva night to promote the diva battle royal at WrestleMania. Teddy Long is cool with it. Lea & Paul Burchull burst in and demand a match against Finlay.
Finlay def. Paul Burchill
Finlay dominated Burchill and won with the Celtic Cross at 3:05. I’ll forget this ever happened in two hours. *
The Dirt Sheet is the main event. At some point since last week, the Bella Twins turned on the Colons and allied with the Miz & John Morrison. Bree doesn’t seem as into is as Nikki. The Colons come out and make a tag title unification challenge for WrestleMania. They try to spit they apples in Morrison’s face, but he ducks and Nikki ends up taking it. Bree laughs so Nikki shoves her. Nikki leaves with Miz & Morrison while Bree stays with the Colons. You’d think that match would be a big deal, but they’d end up dumping it on the preshow.
