SHOW NOTES
Key Takeaways:
- If you create a resource for information, for example where the food trucks in a particular city will be, you can monetize your site when those who benefit from your information want to utilize your space.
- Be okay with doing things without making money at first, because the exposure you get is just as important in the beginning.
- A blog probably won’t be the most lucrative way to make money in the food industry, but it can open up money-making opportunities in the industry for you.
- Food events are more fun for everyone when everyone competing is having a good time, cheering on and promoting one another
- Engaging with bloggers on Instagram is still an effective way to get their attention. You don’t have to offer them free food to come in.
- You’ll build a stronger following if you respond to everyone who comments on your social media channels.
